London's worst restaurant names

Nice to see the short-lived Pussey Liquor alongside such names as Squat and Gobble, Phat Phuc and Sophie's Choice:

Sidcup is in Kent..

But is in the London Borough of Bexley - so one of those a bit dual natured - like Bromley.
I thought I once passed a restaurant called Lahore House, but Google seems to think it doesn't exist, which is a shame.

It used to be in Kent, since 1960 something it's been part of Greater London. If you go back far enough (1889) East Dulwich was in Surrey!
That might tie-in as to why why Surrey play cricket at the Oval?...
There is a Lahore one restaurant in Whitechapel

Yep and Middlesex at Lord's, and why in the Boat Race the crew winning the toss get a choice of the Surrey or Middlesex station.

I eat in Lahore in Tooting
Going off track I passed a shop somewhere in Europe called 'Fanny Boutique' - got a photo somewhere. Here is another [yellowprod-fcd.kxcdn.com]
It's a genunine ladies' clothers shop, just my childish sense of humour made me think of this.
Ouch !
Not a restaurant, but lest we forget .... Rim World in the Walworth Road ....
Rim world, yes. Is it still there? I recall there was once a woman's clothes shop in Dalston called Spoilt Bitch. And on my holidays this year, I'm looking forward to a splendid repast at the Sour Grapes in St Agnes

Sadly it changed its name. I think somebody must have told it.

But I don't think it's there at all any more. It was a hat shop.

My brother wondered whether they confused brim and rim smiling smiley
Why the confusion ?

Rim is a type of Hat..

Foxy
Perhaps you have missed the point Fox.

Google "rim" and look at the Urban Dictionary definition .....

Zackly. It's London.
Again not food related but there was a nail/beauty salon in Brockley called Angina. Think it was two girl's names put together!
A boy at primary school was diagnosed with "angina pectoris". We all (including him) thought it was hilarious for the same reason.
Sadly IBS bakery in Sydenham closed down
R. Soles was also on the kings road, inbound.

The Lahore Kebab House was a favourite ours when we lived in Whitechapel. We always called it the La Kebab Whorehouse. It's just off Commercial Street, next to Flick Fashions, whose signage put the L and the I in flick too close together.
